Valve Reveals Initial BLAST Austin Major Lineup and Qualifier Details

Valve has released an updated team ranking, which revealed the first participants of the BLAST Austin Major, as well as the qualifying tournaments.

The top-ranked teams have advanced directly to Stage 3 of the Major: Vitality, Spirit, Natus Vincere, Liquid, MOUZ, Aurora, G2, and The MongolZ.

Stage 2 will feature Falcons, 3DMAX, paiN, MIBR, FaZe, Virtus.pro, FURIA, and M80.

The remaining Major participants will be determined through six regional qualifiers. The European MRQ Tournament will begin on April 14 and conclude on April 17.

Sixteen teams will compete in the European qualifier for six Major slots: Astralis, SAW, HEROIC, 500, OG, BB Team, PARIVISION, ENCE, GamerLegion, BC.Game, BIG, B8, Nemiga, fnatic, 9 Pandas, and Metizport.
